Accessibility Statement
Our goal is to make frontidakomotini.gr accessible to as many people as possible.
Target: WCAG 2.0 Level AA, as required by the programme. Relevant WCAG 2.1 AA improvements have also been applied where appropriate.
Measures implemented
- Full site operation in Greek and English.
- Responsive layouts for mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and titles for embedded frames.
- Pause/play controls for the automatic slider and support for the reduced-motion preference.
- Semantic HTML, landmarks, heading structure and descriptive link names.

Testing
The site has been prepared using technical code checks and manual review of key accessibility requirements. After deployment, a final review of the live URL with W3C validation and a WCAG testing tool is recommended.
